Monday 12th July
You are welcome to arrive at your leisure anytime from 2p.m on Monday and begin soaking up the atmosphere of the charming Maynard hotel, with it's beautiful views of the surrounding Peak District hills.
At 3 pm there will be a welcome meeting over tea and cake. Followed by a chance to stretch out and unwind from the journey, with a group class in the elegant Chatsworth Room
We will reconvene at your leisure in the bar before enjoying a three course dinner in our area of the hotel’s beautiful dining room.
Tuesday 13th July
Tuesday morning begins with a pre-breakfast Pilates session either in the Glorious Chatsworth Room or, weather permitting, it's adjoining private garden.
A choice of full English or Continental Breakfast will be served in the bar area with panoramic views of the beautiful Derbyshire countryside.
The day continues with a fun and varied Pilates class, using a variety of props and equipment, to give you an opportunity to enhance your Pilates repertoire.
Morning Coffee will be served.
After a delicious, hot or cold buffet lunch in the dining area, the afternoon is free to give you plenty of time to relax, explore the magical Padley Gorge on the National Trust's Longshaw Estate (guided if preferred) or take the opportunity to visit nearby Chatsworth House, or Haddon Hall, each within a 15 minute drive away (taxis can be arranged for an extra charge).
Without getting in a car, the surrounding walks are some of the most stunning in the Peak District.
Late afternoon there will be a class combining the benefits of stretching and Mindfulness before re-convening for pre-dinner drinks in the bar.

Wednesday 14th July
On Wednesday morning a stretchy, restorative Pilates session begins the day, followed by breakfast then a group Mindfulness class, and finishing with a coffee and cake moment (Of course!) before you wend your way home.
Prices per person:

The Hotel is extremely easily accessed by public transport, it is situated a short walk from the quaint Grindleford Station. There is ample car parking available for drivers.
Rosalind Hoyes has been teaching Pilates in many different environments since qualifying with the gold-standard teacher trainers, Body Control Pilates, in 2004. After many years running her own busy studio in Northamptonshire, she moved to rural Derbyshire and embarked on teacher training with the University of Bangor, which has an international reputation for the quality of their teacher training programme. She also gained a qualification as an NLP Practitioner with Quadrant 1.
She now teaches her unique blend of these skills at Retreats and Workshops in the UK and abroad, using the combination to enable people to take a relaxing break in good company whilst improving mobility and strength.
