Come and join our Pilates & Wellness weekend break and escape your daily life.
Suitable for all.
Take part in Pilates or Mindfulness Meditation sessions with Rosalind Hoyes expert tuition, you’ll return home feeling relaxed, refreshed and with a balance body and settle the mind.

Based at Sedgebrook Hall, located in the charming village of Chapel Brampton in the heart of the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside centres around a beautiful Victorian Manor House set in 13 acres of picturesque gardens. The comfortable newly refurbished bedrooms and spa facilities blend old and new perfectly to make this a comfortable and relaxing venue for our Pilates and Mindfulness retreat. The pool, hot tub and tennis courts will all be available for your use, and luxury beauty treatments can be arranged by appointment.

Retreat Programme:

Friday, September 17th

  • You are welcome to arrive from 2 pm onwards and begin making use of the hotel facilities.
  • Late afternoon, there will be a welcome meeting over tea and cake.
  • At 5 pm we will have our first Stretchy Pilates class to help unwind from the journey.
  • 7.30 pm Three-course dinner in the Dining Room.

Saturday, September 18th

Morning

  • Saturday morning begins with a pre-breakfast Pilates session. A choice of full English or Continental Breakfast will be served in the hotel restaurant.
  • The day continues with a fun and varied Pilates class, using a variety of props and equipment, to give you an opportunity to enhance your Pilates repertoire.
  • There will be a mid-morning coffee break.

Afternoon

  • After a hot or cold buffet lunch in the dining area, the afternoon is free to give you plenty of time to relax, explore the beautiful rolling countryside, use the pool or gym facilities or stroll the lovely grounds of the hotel.
  • There will be a late afternoon Pilates and Mindfulness session.
  • Evening
  • Dinner will be served in the restaurant.

Sunday, 19th September

  • On Sunday a stretchy, restorative Pilates session begins the day, followed by breakfast.
  • The retreat will finish late morning. Lunch is not included on the Sunday but you are welcome to stay for lunch or use the facilities afternoon

Prices per person:

£350, Based on 2 people sharing a twin room with a shared bathroom.
£445 for a room with single occupancy and ensuite bathroom.

Rosalind Hoyes has been teaching Pilates in many different environments since qualifying with the gold-standard teacher trainers, Body Control Pilates, in 2004. After many years running her own busy studio in Northamptonshire, she moved to rural Derbyshire and embarked on teacher training with the University of Bangor, which has an international reputation for the quality of their teacher training programme. She also gained a qualification as an NLP Practitioner with Quadrant 1. 

She now teaches her unique blend of these skills at Retreats and Workshops in the UK and abroad, using the combination to enable people to take a relaxing break in good company whilst improving mobility and strength.
